DISABILITY & ACCESSIBILITY
HELP STARTS HERE.

Explore benefits, workplace accommodations, independent-living support and accessible transportation. Each program sets its own eligibility and service area.

Official sources reviewed October 14, 2026. National resources alongside Texas and North Texas organizations.

A practical first step

  1. Get help: Choose a resource for your county and the type of support you need.
  2. Know your options: Ask about eligibility, costs, wait times, language access and accommodations.
  3. Help someone else: Ask how they want to be supported. Use the provider’s official intake process only with their permission.
